REMEMBERING OUR ROOTS

First Director of
 Restoring Hope Center

Over 40 years ago God spoke to Pastors Kenneth & Joyce Blease and Mrs. Mildred Sessoms.  He placed a dream in their hearts of a place that would reach out to hurting humanity with the love of Jesus and minister to their needs.  Armed with faith and a great church behind them the dream began...

The Next Step
In July of 2000 Northview Harvest Outreach, now Restoring Hope Center, officially opened it's doors for the first time.
The Vision Grows
FUTURE
In 1986 when Northview Harvest Ministries purchased property for a new location for a worship center, questions were asked about what would happen to the existing campus located at 506 Lee's Mill Road.  We then remembered a promise given that God would move everything around us there and He would continue to use it.  We dared to dream of a Kingdom place where the poor were clothed and fed, homeless were sheltered, youth were safe and challenged, lives were transformed by the gospel of Jesus, and skills were given to adults by which improvements would be made in their lives.

In 1994, one of our members, Mrs. Mildred Sessoms came to us with a similar vision and the journey began...
The outside shell of the new center is complete.  We thank God and the congregation of Northview Harvest Ministries for making that possible.

We also thank God, the churches,
organizations and private donors who are partnering with us to finish the interior of this facility.  Many more partnerships are needed to finish this project.

Restoring Hope Center is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit.  As a community based ministry, it opens the door in an even greater way for partnerships to be formed.

Ask us how you can become a part of the Restoring Hope Family!  You'll be glad you did!
